Cubs Canvas sessions are designed to be relaxed, creative spaces where children can freely explore painting. To help everyone have a comfortable and enjoyable experience, here are a few simple things to keep in mind before arriving.
Dress for Creativity
Painting can be wonderfully messy. We recommend dressing children in comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting paint on.
While the paints used are child-safe and washable, creativity sometimes leaves colourful reminders behind.
Simple Is Best
All basic painting materials will be provided during the session. Children do not need to bring their own brushes, paints, or supplies.
The focus of Cubs Canvas is on creative exploration rather than equipment, so simple materials are more than enough.
Parent or Guardian Presence
Parents or guardians are asked to remain present throughout the session. Cubs Canvas activities are designed to be shared creative experiences where children feel supported while exploring independently.
Respecting the Space
Cubs Canvas sessions are created with young children in mind. We kindly ask that all participants and siblings attending help maintain a respectful and calm environment for everyone.
Older siblings are welcome to attend, as long as they remain considerate of the younger children taking part.
Photography
Occasionally, photographs may be taken to capture the creative atmosphere of the sessions. Cubs Canvas will never share images where children’s faces are clearly visible.
If you would prefer that your child is not included in any photographs, please let us know and this will always be respected.
Come Ready to Explore
Most importantly, children are encouraged to arrive with curiosity and openness. There is no right or wrong way to paint here.
At Cubs Canvas, the experience of creating is what matters most.
