Cubs Canvas sessions are designed to provide young children with relaxed spaces where they can explore painting freely.
Our sessions focus on creativity, expression, and discovery rather than structured art lessons.
Age Group
Cubs Canvas sessions are primarily designed for children aged 0–5 years, where creative exploration plays an important role in early childhood development.
Older siblings are welcome to attend alongside their family. We simply ask that older children remain respectful of the space and the younger children participating in the session.
What to Expect
During Cubs Canvas sessions, children will have access to simple painting materials and open space to create. They are encouraged to explore colours, textures, and movement at their own pace.
There are no expectations for what a painting should look like. Each child is free to create in their own way.
Outdoor Creative Spaces
Whenever possible, Cubs Canvas sessions are planned for outdoor environments during the warmer months. Open spaces allow children to move freely, explore creativity without restriction, and enjoy painting in a calm, natural setting.
Safe & Child-Friendly Materials
All paints and materials used during Cubs Canvas sessions are carefully chosen to be safe for young children.
The paints used will be:
- skin-safe
- mouth-safe for young children
- vegan
- cruelty-free
We understand that every child is different, and parents may have individual concerns or sensitivities. If you have any questions about the materials used, you are always welcome to ask before or during the session.
Parent Presence
Parents or guardians remain responsible for supervising their children during Cubs Canvas activities. These sessions are designed to be shared creative experiences between families and children.
Focus on Experience
Cubs Canvas sessions are not about producing artwork to take home. They are about the experience of creativity itself — the joy of painting, experimenting, and discovering.
Photography & Media
Cubs Canvas may occasionally take photographs during sessions to capture the creative atmosphere and the painting process.
Any images shared on the Cubs Canvas website or social media platforms will never clearly show a child’s face. Photographs will focus on elements such as:
- the artwork created
- hands painting
- painting materials or creative setups
- children from angles where faces are not visible
Our goal is to celebrate creativity while protecting every child’s privacy.
Parents and guardians will always have the option to decline photography for their child. If you prefer that your child is not included in any photographs, please let us know and this will be fully respected.
To protect the privacy of all families attending, we kindly ask that parents do not photograph or record other children during sessions without permission from their parent or guardian.
Protecting children’s identities and creating a respectful environment for all families is an important part of Cubs Canvas.
